DRDO Jobs 2017: 10 Junior Research Fellow Vacancies for B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech

On 21/10/2017, DRDO announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed B.Tech/B.E, M.E/M.Tech, Any Post Graduate for the position of Junior Research Fellow.

Qualification:

1. Post graduate Science degree in first division with NET/GATE in the fields of Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics/Geo-informatics. OR ME or M.Tech in first division (both at graduate and post graduate level) in the fields of Remote Sensing/GIS/Geomatics/Geo-informatics. 
2. Post graduate Science degree in first division with NET/GATE in the fields of Geophysics /Seismology/Geology OR .. ME or M.Tech in first division (both at graduate and post graduate level) in the fields of Geophysics /Seismology/Earthquake Engineering/Engineering seismology. BE or B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Mechanical Engineering. BE or B.Tech in first division with NET/GATE in Computer Science & Engg. Desirable: i) Work experience in MATLAB/C-14/01/SQL
3. ME /M.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in first division both at graduate and post graduate level. OR BE/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in first division with NET/GATE. BE/M Tech in first division with NET/GATE in the fields of Electronics/Electronics & Communication Engineering. 

Desirable:

• Good working knowledge of seismological data processing analysis procedures, e.g. source parameter estimation, Q-value estimation, seismic hazard analysis, using PGA value 
• Good working knowledge of different software (e.g. SEISAN, ERDAS, ArcGIS) 
• Knowledge of remote sensing data analysis for seismic studies 
• Knowledge of GPS surveying 
• Experience of field work, preferably in glaciers 
• Scientific publication, if any
